A city. A friendship. A turning point.
Mikey and Alvin’s friendship places the story at the intersection of personal ambition and the pressures around them. Set in early-2000s San Francisco, Deville follows the choices facing two teenagers as they encounter romance, peer pressure, gangs, and the police. Its coming-of-age story asks how a young person’s sense of identity is shaped by both friendship and place.
