Help bring the experience to life.
Welcome guests, help with check-in and wayfinding, prepare a room, support hospitality, or lend a hand with setup and breakdown.

Lyrical Opposition is built by people who create, organize, welcome, document, support, and show up for one another.
Volunteer your time and skills and help us make space for artists and community.

MANY HANDS. SHARED POSSIBILITY.
You don’t have to be an artist to be part of Lyrical Opposition.
Some people perform. Others organize, welcome people at the door, document a gathering, solve problems, or make sure artists have what they need. Different skills make creative community possible.
FIND YOUR PART
Choose what interests you. These are areas of participation, not a list of currently open assignments. No one is expected to do everything.

Volunteers may also support organization-wide experiences—from Lyrical Festival and Boogie Down Brisbane to screenings, exhibitions, performances, and community events. Participation depends on the needs of each experience.

One afternoon can matter. So can a relationship built over time.
Some people volunteer once. Others return regularly. A returning volunteer may eventually support a crew or help lead an event or production, as trust, experience, and organizational needs align.
These are possibilities, not required steps or guaranteed roles. Each way of participating has value.
