Lyrical Opposition was proud to co-organize with Bridges Bay Area Association and assist in curating the creative experience for MyBLVD: The Journey of an Urban Missionary, an evening centered on purpose, community, and everyday impact.

Working alongside MyBLVD, BaySeed Collective, and Bridges Network, Lyrical Opposition helped shape both the flow and artistic direction of the event—intentionally curating live performances that complemented the message of the night. Bridges Bay Area Association and Lyrical Opposition both featured artists like Son the Gifted and Phresh Air, the performances created moments of reflection, inspiration, and connection that reinforced the call to live on mission.

Held at The HUB (Sunnydale Ave Community Center), the space served as a powerful gathering point for conversation, creativity, and community engagement. From the insights shared by Dhati Lewis to the collective energy in the room, the evening embodied what it means to integrate faith, leadership, and service into everyday life.

Through thoughtful collaboration and intentional curation, Lyrical Opposition helped bring MyBLVD to life as more than an event—it became a shared journey of storytelling, expression, and purpose-driven community.

The Journey of an Urban Missionary: 7 Stops to Living on Mission A conversation on purpose, community, and everyday impact

Join us for an evening of learning, reflection, and creative expression as we explore what it means to live with purpose and make a meaningful impact in our communities.

Bridges Network presents: The Journey of an Urban Missionary — 7 Stops to Living on Mission, a gathering focused on how faith, leadership, and service can shape the way we show up in our neighborhoods and relationships.

Featured speaker Dhati Lewis will share insights on living with intention, building community, and stepping into the work we feel called toward in everyday life.

Hosted in partnership with MyBLVD, BaySeed Collective, Bridges Network, and Lyrical Opposition, this event brings together conversation, music, and community connection.
