A sight and sound show celebrating Latino heritage at the AFH Showroom and Speakeasy Gallery in San Bruno, September 20, 2026, with live music by Lyrical Opposition.
Sonidos y Colores is a sight and sound show presented by Atelier for Healing, cultivating art and community while celebrating Latino heritage. It runs Sunday, September 20, 2026, from noon to 6:00 PM at the AFH Showroom and Speakeasy Gallery inside The Shops at Tanforan in San Bruno, across suites 283 and 265.
Curated by Mario "SMURKS" Guitron and Annalyn Huerta, the show highlights Latino/a/x artists and creatives from the surrounding community and across the Bay Area. Featured work includes pieces by Kookie Munstro, Martha Diaz, LJ Custom Canvas, Young Scribble, A. Delgado, Marjun, Lil Cactus Babies, Cyi, and Studio Evangelina, among others.
Sonidos y Colores is one of four simultaneous exhibitions across the Atelier for Healing collective at Tanforan that day, each in a different room, with the galleries open together and artists on hand.
Lyrical Opposition is providing sound and entertainment. Lyrical Opposition artist Fego Navarro performs alongside Primo Party and Ami, and DJ Mikeazy, Lyrical Opposition's new in-house DJ, spins and runs sound.
